Warrior Wellness Program Receives Grant Award from Disabled Veterans National Foundation Holiday, FL July 21, 2023 – Warrior Wellness Program, Inc. is honored to announce it has received a grant from the Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF) for $16,000. This grant will help Warrior Wellness Program provide effective mental health and wellness services to veterans with post-traumatic stress that suffer from an array of issues including isolation, anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation. Patricia Fried, Executive Director of Warrior Wellness Program said, “Funding from DVNF will help provide effective mental health and wellness services to those who served our nation so they may have an opportunity to heal from the traumas of war. Joseph VanFonda (USMC Sgt.Maj. Ret.), CEO of the Disabled Veterans National Foundation said, “In caring for our Veterans’ mental health, the Warrior Wellness Program provides vital therapy for those who deal with mental stress after leaving the service. This program helps each veteran see that they are not alone in addition to teaching them important coping tools. About Warrior Wellness Program Warrior Wellness Program provides both individualized services and a five-day Accelerated Wellness Program, which uses Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and other alternative therapies to create a more healthy, connected and resilient veteran population. Since 2015, Warrior Wellness Program has served over 1000 veterans and their spouses.
